Xbox 360 won't catch up to the Xbox One, but I expect the biggest gap decrease will be September since Halo 3 release for that month unless they release Halo 5 in September.

So in short, Xbox 360 has a higher baseline trough the year but the Xbox ONE trumps this by having massively higher holiday sales. Considering that the Xbox 360's sales where rising through the years, it might get hard for the Xbox ONE to to keep playing catch-up during the holidays on the long run

Was the Xbox 360 not pass 10 million in March 2007?

The Xbox 360 was seriously supply constrained it's first year, if I remember correctly. MS simply wasn't anticipating it would be in such high demand after the Xbox sold so poorly compared to PS2. But, that's the benefit of releasing a year ahead with a strong first year of titles, unless of course your console's name is Wii-U hehe

XB1 is failing, yet outselling the 360... not to shabby if you ask me.

This is confusing.. Microsoft stated that the X1 set a FEB record for sales for them (beating any X360 sales).. How could X360 then be 104k ahead for the month.. Most likely your numbers are wrong VGChartz..

“Xbox One’s fan base continues to grow with record February sales in the U.S. for Xbox One and 84 percent more consoles sold compared to January 2015,” They said record sales for Xbox One, nothing to do with any 360 sales.

It was undertracked by 80k in the US alone! It may be the same way elsewhere. PS4 was even more undertracked as well!
