Cities: Skylines Tops Steam Bestsellers List - News

Cities: Skylines has jumped up three spots this week to take teh top spot on the Steam bestsellers list. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is up one spot to number two, while Grand Theft Auto V drops one spot to number three.

Games in the fourth and fifth postion were not released. Ori and the Blind Forest has entered the charts this week at number six, while last week's top game, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, has dropped to number seven.

Glad this is doing well, it's like gamers collectively giving EA the middle finger over the Simcity debacle, at the same point it's sad that within this month EA closed the Simcity developer Maxis after spending years destroying them, as they do with everything they have.

I totally took a pass when Sim City 2013 was released. I watched some gameplay of Cities: Skylines on Twitch and knew I was going to buy it. In fact, I got a Steam account exclusively to play this game. It's good to see EA lose a finger.
