Bigpoint Hires Ex Zynga, SOE Execs - News

Bigpoint, the online game developer has hired two ex Zynga and Sony Online Entertainment executives. Heather Sinclair is the former general manager at Zynga, while Shawn Lord was the former Sony Online Entertainment lead.
"I am very glad to be at Bigpoint. The teams are truly international and so is the spirit, the open-mindedness and the creativity," said Sinclair. "I appreciate the high potential to sustainably grow the free-to-play industry here."
Sinclair will be Bigpoints newest head of product optimization, while Lord will produce the MMO DarkOrbit Reloaded.
"I am extremely excited to join Bigpoint here in Germany," said Lord. "DarkOrbit has a huge established following with a strong commitment to the game and great potential to continue that success and growth."
