Overview
Threre are two games in the top 40 to be in its final week: The Order 1886 (PS4) and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (WiiU).
One games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, down from three last week, and the top eight has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 10 last week. No games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, down from two last week and two added 10,000 or more, down from five last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
The Order 1886(PS4) added 12,114 pre-orders for a grand total of 228,786. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 300,000 to 340,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between one million units and two million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (WiiU) added 2,976 pre-orders for a final total of 20,868. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 30,000 to 45,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 200,000 units and 400,000 million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS4) added 1,352 pre-orders, down from 1,597 last week, for a total of 131,337. The Xbox One version added 945 pre-orders, up from 894 last week, for a total of 74,162. The PC version added 488 pre-orders, up from 227 last week, for a total of 67,842. The game is 14 weeks away from release in the US, May 19, 2015.
Notable mentions: Mortal Kombat X (PS4) added 7,451 pre-orders for a total of 98,227. Mortal Kombat X (XOne) added 4,334 pre-orders for a total of 47,447. Mario Party 10 (WiiU) added 11,682 pre-orders for a total of 63,781.
Requests: Quantum Break (XOne) added 61 pre-orders for a total of 17,131. Rise of the Tomb Raider (XOne) added 76 pre-orders for a total of 6,826. Xenoblade Chronicles (3DS) entered the charts this week with 6,215 pre-orders.
