New Nintendo 3DS Pushes 3DS Sales Up 448% in the US to 158K, Majora's Mask Sells 353K - News

The New Nintendo 3DS hit store shelves in the US on February 13. Only the XL model was released in the US, but it helped push 3DS sales up a massive 448 percent week-over-week, according to VGChartz. The 3DS sold 157,689 units for the week ending February 14.

There were two major releases for the 3DS that launched alongside the New Nintendo 3DS. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D launched at the top of the US software charts with sales of 352,790 units. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launched at number two on the charts with sales of 183,650 units.

Undertracked, 175k New version only. With old 3DS and 2DS the sales are 180,000 to 190,000.
