SEGA's Jon Rooke Moves Up as New Europe Marketing Director - News

Jon Rooke has worked at SEGA has been moved up to the European Marketing Director, according to GamesIndustry. He had previously held the same role at THQ for five years. He has also worked at Microsoft and Vivendi in their marketing departments.

"The prospect of joining the publishing team and working across all of SEGA's brands is a very enticing one," said Rooke. "I look forward to working with this talented team of professionals to further drive SEGA's success across Europe."

"Jon has a well-earned reputation within the industry and we're very pleased to welcome him to SEGA," said SEGA's Jurgen Post. "With the imminent launch of Total War: Attila and a number of exciting titles in development, Jon joins us at a very exciting time for SEGA."

Amanda Farr was the previous European Marketing Director and has now moved to the Xbox division at Microsoft as its head of content and services.
