Sony Announces PlayStation Music, Partners with Spotify - News

They have an exclusive partnership with Spotify, which will bring the digital music service to the PlayStation Network this spring. The service will initially launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xperia phones and tablets.
"We know how important music is to our community of gamers, and this partnership combines the best in music with the best in gaming," said Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel. "PlayStation Network users will enjoy the convenience of linking your accounts to Spotify, making it easy to sign-up with your existing ID and subscribe to Spotify’s Premium service. You can also use Spotify while playing games on PS4, enabling you to soundtrack your gaming sessions with your favorite songs in the background."
Sony also stated they will be closing their Music Unlimited service on March 29, 2015, in all 19 countries it is available in.

who seriously uses there playstation to listen to music?
Apparently the ppl in here saying it;s good/amazing must, I don't see why a console has to even touch music but apparently this is the ebst thing to ever happen to the PS4.
I like to listen to my own music while I play a mindless game (like PvP in CoD or Destiny). Now I won't need to have my laptop open to play music, I can do it all on one device!
