Developer CD Project Red recently did a preview event for their game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game currently runs at 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and 900p for the Xbox One, according to German website Gamestar and translated by VG247. The developer is working hard to get the Xbox One version running at 1080p.

Both versions of the game run at 30fps. The textures in the PlayStation 4 version appear to be sharper than on the Xbox One. However, the PC version is better looking than either console version.

This is a major trend in 3rd party software. X1 just does not have the power.

I'd like it if console games gave us simple graphics options. Nothing like PC or course, just the option between higher frame rate with lesser graphics or better graphics but lower frame rate.
People are never going to agree on which is more important, why not let them pick.
Yeah it means more work optimising both options, but it means publishers/developers don't have constantly be embarrassed.

Just another game to add to the list. The real test would be to see how an exclusive like The Order would run on the Xbone. Not that that would ever happen or anything, and we already know the answer :P
