by William D'Angelo , posted on 27 January 2015 / 2,885 Views

Ubisoft began deactivating digital copies of their game Far Cry 4 on uPlay over the weekend. The publisher has now told MCVUK that the deactivated copies of the game were stolen, as well as sold by Key Strippers, such as websites G2Play

"We regularly deactivate keys that were fraudulently obtained and resold," said Ubisoft. "In this case, we are currently investigating the origin of the fraud, and will update customers as soon as we have more information to share. In the meantime, customers should contact the vendor from whom they purchased the key."
