The former Sega Europe marketing director Amanda Farr has been hired by the UK Xbox team, according to MCVUK. She will be the head of the Xbox content and services in the UK starting on March 2.

"I am delighted to be joining Microsoft and the Xbox team at this incredibly exciting time, and to work with Microsoft’s partners delivering the best content and experiences to Xbox and our customers," said Farr.

She will manage Microsoft games and Xbox Live and will partner with third-party publishers on co-marketing their games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. She will be reported to Xbox UK director of marketing Harvey Eagle.

"It’s a fantastic time to welcome Amanda to the team as we prepare to bring an amazing line-up of games and other content to Xbox platforms in 2015," said Eagle. "Her wealth of experience in the games industry will be a great asset to the team."

First Microsoft copy the controller (Sega Dreamcast Clone), now they pick Sega Europe Marketing Director. What's next? Maybe Microsoft dreams to achieve Sega greatness (best console brand of all time), but xbox brand is a joke compared to what SEGA was.
