by William D'Angelo , posted on 23 January 2015 / 4,726 ViewsDeveloper Techland announced earlier this week they have delayed the retail version of Dying Light. It is now known that the game has been delayed a month until February 27 in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. The digital version will still be released on January 28.
"Although the changes affect only the release of boxed copies in certain territories, we want to show all of you our appreciation for your continued support," said the developer. "We want to thank you for your patience and support in this matter and can’t wait for you to enjoy playing Dying Light and invading other players’ game in the 'Be the Zombie' mode."
Techland has apologized for the delay saying that all boxed versions of the game will come with the Cuisine & Cargo plus Ultimate Survival Bundle add-ons for free and the Be the Zombie multiplayer mode will be free for all versions of the game.

why the physical version delayed? never seen that before
Damn, was looking forward to this. Must be a really good reason for it.
Greedy publisher wants people to buy a digital version for the same price as a physical copy that costs a fraction to produce, takes hours to download, needs 19gigs of hard-drive space and you can't sell.
