Samsung Smart TVs to have PlayStation Now Game Streaming Service - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 26 December 2014 / 5,673 Views

Sont and Samsung have formed a new partnership. Some new Samsung Smart TVs will come bundled with the PlayStation Now game streaming service. You will be able to play PlayStation 3 games over the web, without a PlayStation 3. However, you will need a DualShock 3 or DualShock 4 controller.

This is the first time the PlayStation Now service will be available on a non-Sony device. The service has more than 200 PlayStation 3 games that you can choose from. There will also be PlayStation 2 and original PlayStation games added in the future.

Watch your comment get ignored like everyone else's. Poor Will is too busy writing the next article. They need to hire more people and someone to proofread them for a change.

It sure is interesting to see Sont partnering with its competitor.

Good move Sony bringing the service to a bigger audience.

I don't care where the service is available until Sony starts adding more noteworthy games.

I mean seriously, no Naughty Dog games?

Still not interested in game-streaming. I'd rather have locally-stored content.

IsnĀ“t the service still in beta? If done right this could mean some serious money for Sony (and to a lesser extend Samsung)
