There is one game in the top 40 to be in its final week: Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign (PS3).
No games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top seven has 100,000 or more pre-orders, up from six last week. Two games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, up from none last week and six added 10,000 or more, up from one last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign (PS3) added 3,497 pre-orders for a grand total of 13,425. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 20,000 to 30,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 80,000 units and 150,000 units lifetime in the US at retail.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
Dying Light (PS4) added 4,997 pre-orders, up from 2,924 last week, for a total of 116,643. Dying Light (XOne) added 1,995 pre-orders, up from 1,356 last week, for a total of 61,790. The game is seven weeks away from launch in the USA, January 27, 2015.
The Order 1886 (PS4) added 9,253 pre-orders, up from 5,741 last week, for a total of 152,790. The game is 10 weeks away from launch in the USA, February 20, 2015.
Notable mentions: Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4) added 11,079 pre-orders for a total of 135,220. Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) added 25,947 pre-orders for a total of 112,790. The Last Guardian (PS3) has entered the charts with 55,346 pre-orders.
Requests: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (WiiU) added 559 pre-orders for a total of 4,288. Rise of the Tomb Raider (XOne) added 515 pre-orders for a total of 5,031.
