Assassin's Creed Creative Director Working on a AAA Game That Sounds A Lot Like Assassin's Creed - News

Panache Digital Games founder Patrice Désilets has told Eurogamer that his next game is a "third-person historical-action-survival game." Désilets was the creative director for the original Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed 2. The new game sounds a lot like Assassin's Creed.

"AAA Games, I believe in them," said Désilets. "I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call 'video games' can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this."

"For you see, dear friends, I've always had an underlying ambition in my work: to move the world of games. It is with this motivation that I designed Assassin's Creed. I believe that, somehow, I succeeded in my mission. This gives me great motivation, ambition and heart to continue the adventure."

Panache Digital Games was founded earlier this year and is based in Montreal.

He has nothing to do with Ubisoft's yearly outing. He actually left the company because of it, right around the time Ubi wanted him to make brotherhood.
I know that he made a new studio and at some point Ubisoft bought it from THQ and he got laid off. I am imagining this is the second studio he founds in a couple of years. Ubi has been ravenous with him, even though he made them so much money.
