UK Retailers Were Not Ready for Black Friday Demand - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 19 December 2014 / 4,437 Views

UK retailers have told MCVUK that they were not prepared for such a high demand on Black Friday this year. One third of retailers struggled to keep up with the demand and even had difficulty keep order with so many people rushing around the stores.

"We did not anticipate the popularity of Black Friday," said one store. "Operationally we could have been more organised as a business, but we have learnt a lot this year which will help next time around."

I honestly didn't know other countries did the whole black Friday thing. I thought it was only America that did it.
