Former Codemasters Exec Hired by Redbox as New VP of Games - News

Former Codemasters executive Bill West has been hired by rental company Redbox as their new vice president of video games, according to GamesIndustry. West will be working at Redbox's Santa Monica office.

"West brings extensive video game industry business planning and strategy expertise," said head of content Mike Saksa. "With our continuing focus on gaming, he'll work closely with publishers to drive title awareness and trial, while developing our strategy to transition consumers from current to new-generation consoles."

West had previously worked at Codemasters, Climax Group, Acclaim Entertainment, The Jim Henson Company and The Walt Disney Company.
