Controversial Game Hatred Released Then Removed on Steam Greenlight - News

Polish developer Destructive Creations announced its latest game Hatred earlier this year. People were not that happy with the game that features players who commit mass murder. The game hit Steam Greenlight today, but was quickly taken down by Valve. Valve realized what the game was about and decided it was not a game they wanted featured on Steam.

"Based on what we've seen on Greenlight we would not publish Hatred on Steam. As such we'll be taking it down," Valve's Doug Lombardi told Eurogamer.

Despite being taken down from Greenlight, the game is set to be released on January 28 for the PC and Mac.

The premise is awful, but they should let costumers decide if they want the game or not. If they block this game, who will decide what is violent enough to censore?

Bad move by Valve. I really don't think they should be trying to censor games.
