Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Sales Double in the UK, Driveclub Sales Jump 999% - News

UK has adopted the US tradition of the Black Friday sales and it shows in the top 10 bestselling games for the week ending November 29. GfK Chart-Track has compiled the sales figures and MCVUK has reported on them.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare jumped to the top of the charts as sales for the game increased 110 percent. The last generation version of the game saw the biggest increase in sales. 67 percent of the sales were for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

FIFA 15 sales increased 84 percent, as the game jumped from 4th place to second. It outsold Grand Theft Auto V by just 1,500 units, which is in third place. Far Cry 4 fell two spots to 4th place, while Assassin's Creed: Unity jumped one spot to 5th.

Pokémon Omega Ruby had the biggest debut for the week launching in 6th spot. GfK Chart-Track split up the two new releases as Pokémon Alpha Sapphire debuted at number seven.

The PlayStation 4 exclusive, Driveclub, saw the biggest boost in sales. Sales for the game jumped 999 percent. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag sales jumped 350 percent due to being bundled with Assassin's Creed: Unity. Minecraft: Xbox Edition rounds out the top 10.
