Can we mave a chart comparing Game Gear vs Vita?
Game Gear got to 11m lifetime, so I'd say Vita will at least beat that eventually if Sony keeps it around long enough. Game Gear took 6 years to get to that number (1990 (JP)/1991 (US/EU) to 1996), so Vita should be comfortably ahead being out for only a little under 3. Of course, I don't know what kind of sales curve GG had at this point.
I really don't know what on earth Sony is doing with the Vita. Still nothing happening and looks like it's going stay that way for months unless they decide to do something out of the blue. Perfectly good console wasted and this gap is going to keep getting wider because of the Nintendo 3DS.
Is 3ds selling very low recently or is Vita selling a lot?
I guess that depends on how you frame the issue lol. I think both are down YOY so a little of both.
