Google Contributor Removes Ads from Websites for a Monthly Fee - News

Normally when viewing websites that are free, you have to deal with ads. However, with the new service members will pay a monthly fee to remove ads from websites that are a partner. The cost of the Contributor is not known yet, but between $1 and $3 of the fee will go to partner websites.
Right now only a handful of websites that are partnered with Google have been announced - Mashable, The Onion, Science Daily, Imgur, WikiHow, and Urban Dictionary. Though Google states this is a only a small percent of the actual number of partners.
