Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Top Game in Japan, PES 2015 and Captain Toad Debut in Top 10 - News

It was a strong week for game launches in Japan for the week ending November 16, according to Famitsu and reported by MCVUK. Eight of the top 10 games were all new games.

Sledgehammer developed and Square Enix published Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PS3) debuted at the top of the charts with sales of 100,996 units. The PlayStation 4 version debuted at number three with sales of 68,261 units.

Konami published Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (PS3) was the second biggest debut this week as it launched at number two on the charts with sales of 76,407. The PlayStation 4 version debuted at number eight with sales of 26,627.

The other debuts in the top 10 include One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X (3DS) at number four with sales of 36,703.  Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax (PS3) debuted at number five with sales of 34,748. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (WiiU) debuted at number seven with sales of 29,985. Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax (PSV) debuted at number 10 with sales of 25,196.
