Overview
There are two games in the top 30 to be in its final week: Watch Dogs for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, and Mario Kart 8 (WiiU).
Five games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top nine has 100,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week. Three games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, up from two last week and five added 10,000 or more, up from three last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Watch Dogs (PS4) added 56,806 pre-orders for a grand total of 415,440. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 475,000 to 700,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between two million and three million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Watch Dogs (XOne) added 39,446 pre-orders for a final total of 270,080. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 325,000 to 400,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between two million and three million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Watch Dogs (X360) added 13,124 pre-orders for a grand total of 154,600. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 200,000 to 300,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between one million and tw0 million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Watch Dogs (PS3) added 10,548 pre-orders for a final total of 139,213. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 175,000 to 275,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between one million and two million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Mario Kart 8 (WiiU) added 47,191 pre-orders for a grand total of 279,054. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 325,000 to 400,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between two million and four million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending May 31
Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS4) sales are expected to drop to around 40,000 units in its second week on sale. The Xbox One version is expected to drop to around 35,000 units. The Xbox 360 version is expected to drop to around 15,000 units. The PC version is expected to drop to around 12,000 units. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 10,000 units.
Drakengard 3 (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 6,000 units in its second week on sale.
Overall hardware and software sales are expected to increase dramatically for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U with the release of Watch Dogs and Mario Kart 8. However, the PlayStation 4 is expected to get the bigger increase in sales. Other hardware sales is expected to remain within 10 percent of the previous week sales.

Notable mentions: Destiny (PS4) added 5,268 pre-orders for a total of 304,698. Destiny (XOne) added 4,346 pre-orders for a total of 265,163. EA Sports UFC (PS4) added 3,546 pre-orders for a total of 47,480.
Requests: The Last of Us (PS4) added 2,023 pre-orders for a total of 29,123. Evolve (PS4) added 888 pre-orders for a total of 16,364. Evolve (XOne) added 579 pre-orders for a total of 12,330. Super Smash Bros. (WiiU) added 322 pre-orders for a total of 11,882.
