MS better get their stuff together, Sony is slaughtering them. It is not about FPSs MS, it is about variety and free stuff

If Killzone has sold 2.1 million why do you only have it at 1.48?

Digital sales ? More and more people DL instead of buying a physical game. Some games have 1/3rd of their sales in digital. VGC is less and less accurate because of that trend, they really need to address this big issue !

Then. The update is 6 million for Ps4 because said Sony. And 3.6 million for XO are stimated....is a great great joke since this generation began

Dark_Lord_2008 (on 05 March 2014)

6 million PS4s sold. How many have been shipped? 6.5 or 7 million?

binary solo (on 04 March 2014)

If VGC LTD to 22 Feb is right then global sales for last week, which includes Japan's week 2, are 153K. If Japan is 60K it means the markets that were supporint a >100K/week level have dropped to below 100K. I hope that's supply contrainsts not a tailing off in demand.

bigfatshady (on 04 March 2014)

A little slow on the roll VgChartz. This news is over a day old.

drake_tolu (on 04 March 2014)

One moment! PS4 sold 370.000 in Jpan... But first week sold 320.000! Then, PS4 sold only 50.000 second week in Japan?

ArmGunar (on 04 March 2014)

309k first week
So, only 61k 2nd week
We aren't in holidays period like Wii U was ...

Well yeah, it's the second week man, the supply in Japan has dried up. Wont see any big numbers until a huge shipment is sent.

Seems like it, I guess it still will get to 1 million in 3 or 4 moths, which is good sales.

platformmaster918 (on 04 March 2014)

remember how PS4 sold practically nothing in its second week in NA? That's because there's just not enough supply right now. They're sold out everywhere and Japan is selling what it gets.

If you knew the japanese market you'd know that's pretty alright actually... All other systems sold under 20k during same week, except 3DS which is arround same numbers as PS4.

LOL, sold more other console in second week of launching, noooooooo, I did not expect. :O
...The second Week, PSVita sold 74k...Wii U 130k...It was Christmas? Ok, 3DS coming in Feb 2011, and sold 200k the second week...
and PS4 sold ONLY 20k more 3DS in SECOND WEEK!!!
On 3 week, from 3-9 Mar, 3DS will back dominate, and PS4 will sold very early unless PSVita, and sold like Wii U (10-15k)...

Great sales! Too bad that so many have had to settle with crappy Killzone and *cough* Knack in the consoles early days. Once some true next gen titles land PS4 will go from strength to strength...

bigfatshady (on 04 March 2014)

If you notice Sony has dropped the verbiage "sold to customers" this was not a over sight they are staring to report units sold or shipped to retailers same as MS. So its fair to say 6 mill vs 3.9 ( as of 2 months ago for MS) probably should be more like 6 mill vs 4.5ish.

the playstation was at 5.85 m 10 days ago http://www.vgchartz.com/article/251527/playstation-4-outsells-the-wii-u-worldwide/
Do you really think they need to use the number shipped to retailer to reach that 6m now ?
