Hopefully Vita can get better numbers. It's a fantastic piece of hardware that deserves to be known. I don't regret buying one!

I love it and I think it really deserves more sales, but Sony is downright stupid with it. They're not marketing it! They're selling it as if its only a companion device and not advertising its games enough. If we keep going down this road Vita will only sell 2-2.5 million a year for the next few years until Sony discontinues it or replaces it. Sorry about my pessimism, Vita's continued failure has caused that. Even Wii U is starting to get a move on, and may outsell it by the end of next year.

The Vita has been an awful failure thus far compared PSP.

Between this and the huge gap between the DS and 3DS, it's no wonder handhelds get little third party support outside Japan nowadays. Damn shame, really; I love my Vita and want to get a 3DS, but I wonder what will happen to their successors (assuming Sony even makes another dedicated handheld again).

Damn, PS Vita needs a really big title to boost its sales in each key region. For Japan, it needs an exclusive Monster Hunter title, and in Europe + USA it needs a GT and GTA title. All of these won't happen, but it would certainly get it moving. PS Vita may be doomed as we speak. Until I see it selling at least 700K a month, I say its doomed.

can't expect any system to be moving 700k a month really outside the holiday season, you get a shiny green thumb for saying it needs a GTA vita, I would give you more shiny green thumbs if I could you are so right about this.
