Capcom: Monster Hunter 4 Shipments Top 3m Units - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 16 October 2013 / 6,279 ViewsCapcom has announced that Monster Hunter 4 shipments have surpassed three million units in Japan in its first month. This includes both retail and digital sales through the Nintendo eShop, as well as download cards.
Monster Hunter 4 has sold 2.61 million units to consumers in Japan as of October 6, 2013, according to VGChartz. The game has remained at the top of Japanese charts every week since it launch and sold 149,299 units in the latest week.
Monster Hunter 4 launched in Japan on September 14 and sold 1.78 million units in its first two days on sale. The game also boosted sales of the 3DS 259 percent to 284,331.
The Monster Hunter franchise has sold 26 million units to date. The first game in the series was released in 2004.

Capcom better bring this game to NA and Europe. Monster Hunter popularity is growing in the West and this would help continue that trend.
Pretty good. Don't know why they didn't ship out more. I mean, the u.s is the u.s, but monster hunter in japan is massive.
