Batman was announced for Vita a long long time ago. Good price for the Vita, now it just needs some games, a port of a 2 year old console game isn't really breathtaking.

That's good. I was going to buy an ipod touch but now with the price drop of the vita and memory cards I can buy a vita and 32gb memory card. I had a vita for like 9 months but sold it because the lack of games. There are some okay upcoming games for the vita that I want.

There were TWO fundamental issues that prevented the Vita from becoming the leading portable gaming platform: the price and the totally retarded way Sony handled the memory cards (proprietary format sold at a ripoff price and the requirement that users keep separate cards for their savings). Lowering the console's price takes care of the less important issue. I heard that Sony is planning to also lower the price of memory cards and they better align them with whatever equivalent SD cards sell for. A system update might be able to allow for multiple users sharing the same card. Hard to tell but if they do that then the Vita will shine and dominate and turn into the mother of all portables.
