Gazillion Entertainment has announced that its free-to-play MMO Marvel Super Hero Squad Online has passed four million registered players. Players are able to take control of 86 different Marvel Super Heroes, including Wolverine, Thor, and Spider-Man. The game launched a year ago and is designed to be family-friendly.
"Breaking 4 million registered users is a tremendous achievement for MSHSO and for Gazillion Entertainment," said President and COO David Brevik. "We love the passion that our players have shown for the game, and we are excited to continue to put out new and exciting content for them to enjoy."

In order to celebrate this achievement the games website has been revamped allow a more streamlined way for players to access the game, which is played through the web browser. The website will also provide a more immersive and social experience. The U.S. servers are also being expanding to include European players.
