Revenue fell 12 percent year on year to $129.8 million, while the company posted its first loss since 2006. The company lost $6.4 million, compared to a profit of $36.6 million a year ago.
The loss was due to the cost of the layoffs during the company's restructure. The company had to pay a hefty severance package. Its labor cost jumped 27 percent compared to the previous quarter. NCsoft also reported that in-game item sales for its games have fallen across the board.
